Smart Pill

This test helps diagnose functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastroparesis, constipation, and other GI motility disorders. It is useful in evaluating such symptoms as nausea, dyspepsia, and constipation. Smart pill is a wireless single-use capsule that is swallowed by the patient and travels along the GI tract transmitting data to a recorder.

Smart Pill monitors pressure, temperature and acidity level throughout the entire GI tract. The capsule will pass spontaneously with a bowel movement. The test is painless and requires only minimal preparation.
